Her intelligence has been enhanced through unknown means. She is searching for ancient technologies and artifacts that could benefit her firm. She also has a personal goal, the resurrection of her mother. Gambit saved her life when Sekhmet got caught in the crossfire during one of his capers. She has his grateful friend ever since and there were hints of romantic attraction.
