Señorita finds Mortimer Snerd feeling quite unwell. She rushes to find his friend Charlie McCarthy to alert him that Mortimer will not be able to fight the bull el Cyclone. This forces Charlie to fight in his stead
Señorita attends the bullfight clutching a book on hypnotism. She explains to her friend that a young man threw some flowers onto a balcony and she has kept the flowers pressed in her book. Despite this sentimentality, Mortimer steals the book and tosses it to Charlie, who tries to use it to hypnotize the el Cyclone. It doesn’t work. (Hopefully she gets her book back.)
