Setzer originally appeared as a video game character from Final Fantasy VI, but would later appear in the Kingdom Hearts manga as a champion fighter in Twilight Town when Roxas was in the fighting tournaments. He was the last challenge that Roxas had to face before the Keyblade reappeared in his hand.
