Origin
Sha Lux is the leader and ruler of the Golden Realm and the Golden Guardians. The worlds of magic have realties overlapping. There are places such as the Void realm, a place of darkness and hopelessness where many dangerous magic users have been exiled. Then there are places like the Golden realm, a realm where magic exists in great quantity, physics bend, order is enforced. Sha Lux commands the enforcers of the Golden realm. When the powerful Serke seeks to claim Earth, its up to druid Sudana, Hank Medley, Sparkles and the powerful Kon to oppose him. Serke focusing on eliminating Kon himself leaves his followers Torgan, Alle and Hector to track down Sudana and Hank. Escaping to the Golden realm, Sudana is familiar with the ream and hesitant to turn to Sha Lux and the group avoid rousing her attention.
Creation
Sha Lux is a Aspen MLT character created by Vince Hernandez and Vincenzo Cucca for the second volume of Charismagic. Sha Lux first appears in Charismagic #4 – The Golden Law.
Character Evolution
Sha Lax appears in a limited role, mainly as a neutral supporting character. The character has a history with Sudana and appears quite important within the Charismagic universe.
Major Story Arcs
The Golden Law
When Las Vegas stage magician Hank Medley, druid Sudana and cat Sparkles need to seek refuge from Torgan, Alle and Hector they travel to the Golden realm which is under the jurisdiction of Sha Lax. Outnumbered by the Golden Guardians, the group must travel to and met with the ruler of the land Sha Lux. Sha Lux’s mannerisms and descent clad in decorative armor make for an impressive site, causing Hank to sigh whilst annoying Sudana simultaneously. Unfortunately Sha Lux is more concerned about the presence of the cat Sparkles than the impending threat of Serke. This proves to be a mistake as her throne room is attacked by Torgan, Alle and Hector and a host of creatures summoned by Alle.
War of the Worlds
The mighty lion like entity Torgan had smashed through the Golden realm palace and Sha Lux had been knocked down. A fight would break out between her Golden Guardians, Sudana, Hank and Sparkles and the invading Torgan Alle and Hector with a swarm of dark creatures summoned by Alle. Sha Lux bearing a strong hatred for cat like creatures and having also previously defeated Torgan would attempt to freeze the energy beast in the air enraged after it had killed her Guardians. Despite such a tactic having worked in the past, Torgan being more powerful now could resist and would charge towards Sha Lux looking for revenge until the druid Sudana would step in and with her assistance Sha Lux was able to defeat Torgan once again.
Powers and Abilities
Sha Lux is very powerful in her realm. Its very laws can be manipulated and adjusted by Sha Lux and her magic and as such her abilities and power can be manifested in a variety of ways, including gravity control, temperature control, durability, energy manipulation and generation and likely plenty more.
