Origin
Roger Brantt, a physically challenged Veteran and artist, is imbued with the mystical Well of Souls. As a result he has premonitions when ever someone is going to commit murder. He then lays down in a trance to allow the spiritual form of the entity known as The Shade to leave his physical body via ectoplasm. Â While in this state, the Shade is capable of many things, including flight, phasing, Â magic, and telepathy. Â He has fought along side Nightveil and the FemForce a number of times. Â
