Sharon Xavier

Origin

Sharon Xavier was the wife of Brian Xavier and mother of Charles Xavier. After Brian’s death during a lab accident, she became very lonely and Kurt Marko , a colleague and rival of her late-husband stepped up for her. Sharon and Kurt Marko would eventually marry. Sharon thought they grew together because of their shared grief for the loss of their husband and coworker, while Kurt was actually just trying to get Sharon. For Charles Xavier, the loss of his father had a great impact on his life, since Kurt and his now stepbrother Cain would come to live at the mansion.

Creation

Sharon is like many of the Marvel Characters created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby . She was first appeared in July 1965.

Remarried

Sharon married Dr. Curt Marko after her Husband and Charles father died because she thought that Charles needed a father figure.

Death

Dr. Marko only married Sharon because of the wealth she inherited from her late husband and didn’t really care for Sharon, as a result she began drinking and finally died due to a broken heart.

In the movie X-Men: First Class a character with the name Mrs. Xavier appear. She is not called Sharon, however she has the role as the mother to Professor X and his brain dead brother. She also has blond hair like Sharon.

Television

Sharon appear bot as an illusion and in flashback in X-Men: The Animated Series. However she doesn’t appear as a characther in present time.
