Shawna is a member of Paratech, a task force designed to search for the truth in Paranormal happenings. Shawna and Lisa, were childhood friends, they attended the same school, and did everything together, when the two grew older they went their seperate ways, but met again in San Diego, while Shawna was doing a audition for a movie. She and Shawna then joined the local police force, however after a few jobs they found out that the police was hiding the truth from them; so they both decided to quit. Using their own money they founded Para-tech and began to hunt down and find the truth being paranormal happenings.
