Major Story Arcs
When alerted that her first order of business as the flame goddess is to sacrifice two recently captured prisoners, Shelia deduces that the men are her brother and his partner. She calls the blacksmith and has him construct a knife with a retractable blade.
The day of the execution arrives and her fears are validated: the men she is supposed to kill are her brother Neal and his friend Cliff Barron. She uses her trick knife. The Chicalmans are shocked that the knife makes no mark on the men. Shelia convinces the people that the men must be gods. They must throw a feast to appease any anger. In her room, she reveals her identity to the two men and it is presumed that they spend the rest of their days in Chicalmo.
