Sheriam Bayanar

Origin

Born and raised in Saldaea, Sheriam travelled to Tar Valon as a young woman to receive training at the White Tower. She was an Accepted during the Aiel War, and raised full Aes Sedai shortly after, choosing the Blue. At some point she also joined the Black Ajah. She is later made Mistress of Novices by Siuan Sanche, then the Amyrlin Seat. 

Creation

Sheriam was created by  Robert Jordan for his book series The Wheel of Time, making her first appearance in the prequel, New Spring. She made her first appearance in comics in Wheel of Time: New Spring #3, written by Jordan and Chuck Dixon and illustrated by Mike Miller

Sheriam is a fellow Accepted and close friend of Moiraine Damodred and Siuan Sanche.  

Powers and Abilities

Sheriam is a channeler of fair strength.  As a channeler, her lifespan is greatly expanded compared to regular humans. Though an Aes Sedai, she was released from the Oaths by her Oaths to the Dark One; their effects on her potential longevity are unknown.
