Post-Villainy

After many generations of heroes, Sherlock finally retired from villainy. He started Frankenlock Worldwide, a global leader in medical research and renewable energy. Over time, he eventually re-branded himself as the world’s premiere philanthropist. When his long time rival, Golden Gail, retires from superhero work, she revealed her true and much more mature form to Sherlock. The two of them fell in love and were prepared to spend the rest of their days together when the Anti-God attacked.

Golden Gail was called into action by Skarlok. In order to protect her, he arranged for a meeting of supervillains. He attempted to convince them to join the fight against the Anti-God. Before anyone could make a decision, they witnessed the bright light from Black Hammer’s strike, which led to the disappearance of the Anti-God and the other heroes.

Ever since, Sherlock has been holed up in the executive offices of Spiral Asylum.

Age of Doom

When the heroes finally made it back to reality, it caused a reality reset that wiped everyone’s memories of superheroes. Sherlock’s intellect allowed him to see the emptiness in his own memories and somehow pieced it all back together. It took weeks, but when he finally had everything back in place, he went in search of Gail.

He found Gail assembling with her superhero friends. They were deciding on whether or not to return to their dreamworld prison in order to restore balance and stop the Anti-God from rematerializing. Gail was refusing, but Sherlock convinced her by volunteering to join her so they could be together.
