Origin
The Editor is a ghoulish individual who runs the comic Shiver, the horror half of Shiver and Shake. His office is next door to the Shake editor’s. As well as running his half of the overall title and responding to readers’ letters, he heads the Shiver Givers, a group of monsters and creatures composed of the stars of Shiver’s strips.
Creation
The Shiver Editor first appeared in the third issue of Shiver and Shake, on 24th March 1973, and from the fourth issue was headlining in the Shiver Givers strip.
