A lumberjack in the Pacific Northwest. After seeing some strange lights in the woods, he tracked them down to a cave. He went to find out what the source was and the cave floor collapsed. He found a strange device that contained a portal. Standing outside the portal was a bunch of woodland creatures staring at him as if they wanted him to enter. He felt the urge to press a button on a control panel and was bathed in a strange energy. He was re-made into…the Shrewmanoid. The animals outside were now at his command.
