Origin
Shura is shrouded in mystery, born in Suwa Japan, she is partially possessed by a demon she once killed. The two formed a mutual arrangement of sorts, as the demon wishes to possess and inhabit the most powerful body it can come across, and Shura wishes to challenge powerful warriors and opponents. As Shura typically defeats the warriors she faces, the demon has stayed with her.
It is known that Toki, master of Taki, would track Shura when he was the head of the Fu-Ma ninja clan.
Creation
Shura was designed by guest artist Hiroya Oku for use in the Namco Bandai Soul Calibur franchise. Shura first appeared in Soul Calibur IV and has appeared in cross medium promotional material, including books and comics.
Powers and Abilities
Shura is an extremely proficient and skilled warrior, Shura wields two katana swords, named Raijin-Maru and Fujin-Maru and also wears two wakizashi swords, typically companion swords to katana, Shura’s unorthodox utilization of two large katana, possibly reasons why she does not use the smaller swords.
