When residents of Wild Valley prove a little too difficult to purchase property from, Simon dons a wolf costume to scare residents and visitors away. Birdie Snerd refuses to budge and Simon kidnaps her so that her bills don’t get paid and her ranch is foreclosed upon. He is almost victorious in purchasing her ranch but Charlie McCarthy and Mortimer Snerd show up. Simon tries to scare them off as the wolf man – he even thinks he kills them – but they return. Simon steals the rest of Aunt Snerd’s cattle but ends up getting discovered by the boys. They get the drop on him and he is incarcerated.
