Sir Harold Rogers

HISTORY

Strolling on the Scottish Moors, Sir Harold is inexplicably drawn to the Rogers Castle. The caretaker lets him into the castle and calls him by his name. When he asks the caretaker how he knew his name, the old ma showed him a portrait of his ancestor, Sir Harold Rogers, who looks exactly like him.

Sir Harold spends the night in the castle, using some of the time to read up on the history of the Rogers Clan, discovering that his ancestors murdered Prince James,, heir to the throne of Englad, during the Rogers Rebellion of 1040. The spirit of James rises from the body as Mr. Justice and metes out vengeance on the clan.

The ghost of Sir Harold Rogers appears to Sir Harold while he is in bed. The ghost tells him of Sir Harold’s sacred family duty. The spirit instructs him to find the Rogers Touchstone in the courtyard of the castle and touch it. The stone allows Sir Harold to travel into the past and burn the body of Prince James, which will free the ghost of Sir Harold Rogers.

While out walking with Pat Clark, Mr. Justice senses the disturbance. He travels to Rogers castle where the ghost informs the Royal Wraith of its intentions. The pair engage in fierce combat in stellar space. Mr. Justice uses a bolt of lightening to paralyze the ghost.

Travelling back in time, Mr. Justice find Sir Harold preparing to burn the body in a short tower on a roof of Rogers Castle. Mr. Justice enters the corpse of Prince James; his former body as a mortal. Sir Harold is terrified, and crashes through a high window of Rogers Castle and plummets to his death on a row of sharp pickets below the tower. Mr. Justice destroys the castle and the touchstone. As the castle burns with the body of Sir Harold Rogers, the spirit disintegrates.

Mr. Justice returns to Pat Clark and their leisurely stroll, but the slighted Miss Clark is off to other engagements.
