Sister Angelique was a French nun and known pacifist. She got in trouble with the German occupation forces and had to hide to escape. She found refuge in a family of French Jews. When the parents were arrested from the Germans, Angelique resolved to protect their young daughters Erika and Esther. They were later joined by two additional orphans: Paul and Philippe.
Angelique later offered hospitality to four German soldiers. They had no idea that she was wanted. All they knew was that they were weary and famished. But the situation turned ugly when members of the Deadly Dozen arrived on the scene. Ace Hamilton started shooting and combat was about to begin. But young Erika grabbed a gun and managed to wound Hamilton. Angelique managed to convince the rest of the soldiers to lay down their weapons and have a truce for a night.
But one of the german soldiers had more needs than food and rest. He attempted to rape Erika. Everyone woke up and a new battle was about to erupt. Angelique grabbed a weapon and threatened to shoot each and every one of them. All those who abused her hospitality The Deadly Dozen managed to arrest the Germans and escaped. Angelique was left saddened. She knew that she had reached her breaking point and resorted to violence for the first time.
