Zheng Shi-Hua is daughter of Zheng Zu (leader of Five Weapons Soecity) and Jiang Li (a mortal woman from Ta-Lo), and sister of Shang-Chi.
Separated from Shang-Chi in childhood, Shi-Hua became Commander of the House of the Deadly Hammer, after the death of his father, Shi-Hua became the head of the Five Weapons Society.
Creation
Shi-Hua was created by Gene Luen Yang in the miniseries Shang-Chi (2020), she seems to replace Shang-Chi’s half sister, Zheng Bao Yu, who became the leader of the organization created by her father, The Celestial Order of the Hai-Dai, which was originally an adaptation of Fah Lo Suee, the daughter of Fu Manchu, created by Sax Rohmer, after the publication of the miniseries, Bao Yu had no further appearances, nor was she mentioned again.
Other Media
Shi-Hua was not adapted in other media, however, in the film Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, Shang-Chi is the son of Xu Wenwu, a character composed of Zheng Zu and the Mandarin, leader of the Ten Rings and Ying Li (or Jiang Li, name used in promotional material), the guardian of Ta-Lo (who inspired Gene Luen Yang to raise Shang-Chi and Shi-Hua’s mother), he has a sister, Xu Xialing (Meng’er Zhang), the organization does not allow women to participate, she creates a clandestine fight club called the Golden Daggers and in the end, becomes leader of the Ten Rings.
