After the days of the Atomic Baptism, when all the Heathenous nations rose against us, The separated cities of the East and those of the West, became two long coastal cities. The Atomic wasteland between, became known as ‘Perdition’. To keep order in the Cities, the new Vatican sanctioned Holy Adjudicators, The Crimson Brotherhood and the Scarlet Sisterhood, Priests and Nuns with the power to dispense law and order. Among the sisterhood rose one unto legend, Sister Helena Hanbasquette, whose fury matched her righteousness on the field of battle. She was heralded as a living legend, until the genetic experiments were released, who were to be the final word in ‘Divine Law’. These were ‘The Evangelite’ Angels created through science. But after the new Vatican became fearful and jealous of the status that the people had given to the Evangelite, a war ensued. Those who participated were excommunicated, while their superiors were held responsible. Helena was stripped of her rank and cast out into Perdition here she wandered for a year. Helena settled in an outpost town. where sh built and ran a brothel/tavern for weary travelers and outcasts. One day, a representative from the new Vatican came to her with a proposition. Her Rank and status would be returned if she helped track and capture a new member of what was believed an extinct race: a lone Evangelite.
