Origin
Sister Soul’s history is unknown. She adopted the moniker Sister Soul when she fell in with the Church of Blood and its leader, Brother Blood.
Creation
Sister Soul was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist George Pérez for DC Comics’ The New Teen Titans. She made her first and only appearance in The New Teen Titans #28 – Terra in the night!, in 1983.
Major Story Arcs
In The New Teen Titans #28 Sister Soul is seen working within the Cathedral of Death on the island of Zandia. When Sister Sade is attacked by imaginary snakes, Sister Soul rushes to a console to alert the security forces. Before she is able to do so the ground beneath her opens up, and Sister Soul falls from a seemingly endless height. Like the snakes that tormented Sister Sade, Sister Soul’s fall is not real but rather the result of being attacked by Phobia of the Brotherhood of Evil. Phobia exploits Sister Soul’s fear of heights (acrophobia), causing a fatal heart attack.
