Sobekkta was a czar of a bipedal reptilian race, the Cylons, millennia ago. Sobekkta was a blood thirsty leader and in an attempt to subjugate a colony that resisted his rule, he ordered the creation of the Cylon Centurion Warrior army. The automated process took over and the Cylon race became known as a robot race.
