SpaceGodzilla

Intro

When Godzilla’s cells were carried into space by Mothra, they somehow merged with a crystalline alien lifeform and then fell into a black hole. After absorbing energy from the black hole and an exploding sun, it quickly mutated and grew into a monster that looks much similar to Godzilla with crystalline structures appearing on his body, known as SpaceGodzilla. As he is cloned from Godzilla’s cells, he exhibits all of Godzilla’s trademark powers – super strength, regeneration, and energy projection – as well as telekinetic and electromagnetic powers of his own. Because of his enormous power, SpaceGodzilla is considered to be one of Godzilla’s 3 arch-enemies, along with Destoroyah and King Ghidorah.

Abilities

SpaceGodzilla is widely considered to be one of Godzilla’s ultimate foes – possessing strength, speed, stamina, and energy projection that is on par with the king of the monsters himself.

Corona Beam: SpaceGodzilla’s main attack move is the Corona Beam, a beam of pure energy fired from his mouth that he can freely control and change directions as it moves through the air. This attack is so powerful that it caused the destruction of Earth in a beam battle with Godzilla (Godzilla in Hell, #3).

Crystals: SpaceGodzilla has the ability to create gigantic crystals out of nothing that increases his power when he stays close to them. Those crystals absorb infinite cosmic energy from space that Spacegodzilla can charge into crystalline structures on his shoulders. This ability gives him endless energy replenishment. However, if the crystals on SpaceGodzilla’s shoulders are damaged, his ability to use cosmic energy will be significantly weakened, and his strength will reduce by half.

Crystalline missiles: The crystals themselves can be employed as offensive weapons. SpaceGodzilla has the ability to hurl the crystals at his enemies using telekinesis and detonate them after hitting enemies.

Force field: Spacegodzilla can encase his body in a photonic force field to block attacks from enemies, this field can also deflect ray attacks. This defensive mechanism is so tough, not even Godzilla’s Atomic Breath was able to penetrate it.

Regeneration: Being composed of Godzilla’s genetic material, SpaceGodzilla retains the super-regenerative G1 cells of his forebear – these cells allow Godzilla to rapidly heal from damage at the molecular level.

Telekinetic powers: Some of his most iconic powers are not physical, but mental – SpaceGodzilla has displayed telekinetic powers which he can use to move and levitate objects. Although his mass of 720,000 tonnes prohibits him from running, he can levitate himself and fly around in an upright posture. When traveling in space, he flies at velocities far exceeding the speed of light by means of encasing himself in crystals.

Intelligence: Of all the Kaiju in the Godzilla universe, SpaceGodzilla is by far the most intelligent, possessing human-level intelligence that allows him to develop strategies to defeat his adversaries – making him a force to be reckoned with.
