Origin
Meryet was originally born in ancient Egypt where she tended to the Sphinx just after he received the Ka Stone. The energies from the stone passed to her and she would become immortal through reincarnation. After each death, she was reborn maintaining all her previous memories.
She eventually sought to reunite with the Sphinx and with the power of the Ka Scepter she harnessed the power of the broken Ka Stone. With the power she unknowingly created her own reality where she and the Sphinx were together. She would eventually be defeated by Nova and the New Warriors.
