Spy was one of a group of young people who were chosen by the United Planets to join the Legion of Super Heroes, however Legion leader Lightning Lad did not consider his powers effective enough and he was rejected alongside the rest of the group. The teenagers were then formed into the team known as the United Planets Young Heroes,but this group met with disastrous results.
Powers and Abilities
Spy possesses enhanced senses including hearing and smell, as well as limited extra-sensory perception. For example, when Invisible Kid is sent by the Legion to secretly observe the Young Heroes’ first mission, Spy is able to sense his presence and even pinpoint his location; however he cannot identify the Legionnaire until he is caught by and revealed by teammate Sludge.
