An extreme animal rights activist who took hostages and set expolsives in a research lab. His plans were thrawted by Hawkman and Hawkgirl. After his co-conspiritors surrendered and the hostages set free. Davezak set the explosives off which bathed him in experimental viruses and antiviruses. He took refuge in the swamps and had a epiphany. He now considered himself a saint and a reincarnation of St. Roch. Davzak now can see the disease in others and sought to rid the world of such diseases.
