Dr. Ron Tyler is the man with the disposable body. Tyler created a perfect clone of himself and was able to project his consciousness into it. However he quickly discovered he was unable to return to his original body. Tyler moves from clone to clone since they possess an extremely short life-span.
Dr. Tyler is the scientific expert on the retrieval team as well as lead scientist for the entire Section 12 project.
