Stompa

History

An original member of the Female Furies, Stompa is the brute strength of the group and one of Granny Goodness‘ favorite subjects due to her unfaltering loyalty. Her weapon of choice are her anti-matter gun boots, which enable her to create massively devastating earthquakes by stomping the ground.

Stompa participates in nearly every mission given to the Furies, and has battled several super-heroes including Superman, Wonder Woman, and more often than not, Orion. She has also encountered Supergirl on several occasions, which usually ended in Supergirl inflicting damage to Stompa’s ankles.

A valuable member of the Furies, Stompa is indifferent as to who leads the group. While she and Lashina seem close, Stompa will follow orders just as quickly from Bernadeth. Like Mad Harriet, Stompa usually abstains from the drama that erupts between the Female Furies, though she has shown to argue with Artemiz.

During the mission against Big Barda and Wonder Woman, Stompa was seemingly killed by Barda’s staff, though she later reappeared completely recovered. She continues to serve with the Female Furies.

During the aftermath of Our Worlds At War, Stompa, along with Mad Harriet, Bernadeth and Lashina tried to ambush Harley Quinn and Jimmy Olsen outside of Metropolis. This mission failed when mad Harriet joined Harley’s side and Stompa decided not to fallow orders and be “evil”.

During Final Crisis, Stompa possessed Giganta, and took the name Gigantrix. Giganta was eventually freed by Supergirl.

Powers

Stompa has superhuman abilities (Super-strength and durability), much higher than the average Apokoliptian and can go toe to toe with some of DC’s heavy hitters. Stompa has super-strength to create earthquakes. Though she usually uses brute force (and she has quite a lot of that), she is a highly trained combatant and was able to dispatch the Bronze Tiger with little effort after she got bored of him wailing on her with no effect.
