History
Stringer was a reporter that hid his mutant abilities for fear of lose of job and repitation. He meet Madrox when Madrox was still in the second incarnation of X-Factor.
When Madrox went to Chicago to investigate the death of a dupe, he went to find Stringer for help. Stringer was being attacked by thugs working for a mob boss that Stringer was investigating for an article. Madrox saves Stringer and Stinger agrees to help him. Madrox and Stringer go to his office and look through Tribune stories untill he sees the face that he recognizes. The women that Madrox’s dupe had gotten involved with was engagged to a Chicago Mob boss.
Later Madrox thinks that Stringer was taking out Mob bosses so he could take over. Madrox made Stringer go to a factory. It was burned down attempting to kill both of them. When Stringer was about to escape, Sheila killed him.
