The Radlands of Ji, 2140. From the northern wastelands once known as Outer Mongolia, the Warlord Chang has arisen. His mind addled by power, sorcery and the vaunting ambition of his unscupulous advisors, he believes himself to be the reincarnation of Ghengis Khan. Gaining power from the fabled weapon Dragon Moon, he plans to lead an attack on Hondo City.
Fueled by the mystical power of the sword, Dragon Moon, Chang’s sorceror Kabal has been able to possess the child Emperor’s protector – Sukonami, forcing her to slaughter all those that attempt to stop her.
In a final act of desperation, her last victim, Mizo, forgives her, and breaks the spell. Realising what she has done, she impales herself on the same sword, killing them both.
