Origin
The Sun King was only referred to by Patient 86. According to Dr. Emmet, he developed bipolar disorder as a teenager, which was compounded by his traumatic childhood bouncing from group homes and juvenile hall. Eventually, he joined the army and ultimately committed to Ravencroft Asylum for murdering his bullying platoon by setting them on fire. Inspired by her previous patient, Moon Knight, Emmet introduced the idea of a different Egyptian god, Ra, the sun god, to help him make sense of his delusions. This backfired when he became Ra’s guardian and escaped. He then precedes to have multiple conflicts with Moon Knight, and even resorts to teaming up with The Truth and Raoul Bushman in order to get revenge. He is eventually defeated, and is shown the error of his ways.
