Creation
Sunstroke was created by Steve Englehart, Al Milgrom and Joe Sinnott in 1987 and first appeared in The West Coast Avengers # 17.
Biography
Sunstroke fought the West Coast Avengers as a servant of Dominus.
Sunstroke was later recruited to Crimson Cowl’s Masters of Evil. Unlike many members of the group, he was motivated by more than money, having ambitions towards world power at the Cowl’s side. He fought the Thunderbolts, and managed to escape along with Cowl and Dragonfly, but was betrayed and defeated by Moonstone, who had infiltrated the Masters. He was subsequently apprehended by the police.
