Creation and Development
Susan Bishop was created by Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung. She first appeared in Young Avengers #1.
It would later be revealed during Hawkeye: Kate Bishop #1 that Susan was estranged to the man she had married during her first appearance.
History
Wedding
During Susan’s wedding, it was broken into by some evil men and all the guests were held hostage. The Young Avengers entered in to try and help and that’s when Susan’s younger sister Kate Bishop jumped in. Eventually, the evil men were defeated by the Young Avengers.
Reconnecting
Years later, Susan would reconnect with Kate after it was revealed that they hadn’t talked due to Susan reacting negatively to Kate becoming a hero. Susan acted as Kate’s client to get her to come to her resort where she revealed herself. Kate was furious but Susan explained that she needed her younger sister’s detective expertise and would pay. She said that she had discovered that she had been scratched but had no memory of it, amongst other odd things. Kate agreed to help and jumped into action when a mother reported her daughter missing, and Susan tagged along.
Later, Susan got mind-controlled. Kate was able to free her and after they escaped the resort blowing up, Susan met Kate’s friends: America Chavez and Cassie Lang. They made a plan to take down their enemies, with Susan going with America. When Kate was stuck with her reality being warped, Susan saved her but got injured in the process. She ended up healing with Kate by her.

Susan possesses no known powers but is extremely wealthy from having wealthy parents and inheriting her family’s business.
