Origin
Little is known about Susan Lawton’s origin. At some point she met and married Floyd Lawton, better known as Deadshot. The pair eventually separated, and Susan moved herself and her young son to live in New York, though she continued to hope for a reconciliation with her husband.
Creation
Susan Lawton was created by John Ostrander, Kim Yale, and Luke McDonnell. She made her first appearance in Deadshot #1.
Major Story Arcs
Beginnings
Susan’s son Eddie is kidnapped by a group of men seeking to force Deadshot to carry out a contract. She struggles to track down and tell Deadshot of their son’s kidnapping. Though Deadshot attempts to recover their son, he is raped and killed before he can be saved. Sometime later, unable to cope with Eddie’s death, Susan commits suicide.

Susan is an ordinary human being and has no known superhuman powers or abilities.
