At a very young age, Suzie’s father, who was an accountant, was murdered due to the effects of the stock market crashing. This eventually created a space between Suzie and her mother. She then found comfort in taking long baths, wherein she experienced her first orgasm, which led to time being frozen. She would take down every account and every detail whenever it would happen. And so, after several interviews and embarrassing experiences, she came to the conclusion that she was the only person who went through such an occurrence which she calls “The Quiet.” But she was proven wrong the day she met Jon; a man who experienced the same things she did after sex.
