Creation
Svialoch was created by writer John Ney Rieber and artist Peter Snejbjerg. He first appeared in The Books of Magic in issue 36, in 1997.
Major Story Arcs
Svialoch is a wizard-like faerie creature. He normally wears a glamour that makes him look different from his picture (above).
He is known for the staff he carries.
Svialoch’s home and possessions were all destroyed by the magic fire that burned much of Faerie, due to a curse that was set on Molly. As he and other creatures looked for the Amadan, who was blamed for her condition, he ran into the goblin Dru. They were in the crowd as the Faerie realm fell into temporary destruction, and were seen together again as Faerie was reborn due to the actions of Yarrow, Huon, and Tim Hunter.
