Sylvia and Selina were childhood friend. They also worked the streets together as prostitutes. Sylvia was there for Selina’s “first time” and even took her place so Selina wouldn’t have to go through with it. Selina didnt know how to handle Sylvia after the incident which lead to Sylvia’s hatred of Selina because she felt Selina abandoned her. Years after Selina became Catwoman, Sylvia still never forgave Selina. To get back at Selina, Sylvia agreed to help Black Mask get revenge on Catwoman for beating him, so she could also get revenge on Selina at the same time. They kidnapped and tortured those close to Catwoman such as Selina’s sister Maggie and Maggie’s husband, along with Holly Robinson. After Selina defeated Black Mask, Sylvia attempted to shoot her, but she was shot in the heart by Holly.
