Taffy was the daughter of the Dripple family in a newspaper comic strip that started in the 40’s as a rather blatant rip-off of the older Blonde comic strip.
Otherwise it was hard to tell the different between the two, to the point of the Dripple’s even having a dog whose expressions reflected what was going on with the family.
Starting out as a little girl called L’il Taffy, Taffy grew into a teenager and then stopped aging.
Mild domestic comedy then ensued.
The Dripples appeared both in a number of Dell 4-colors, as did Taffy alone, and their own comic for a short while.
