Takashi, Akari and Haruto have been close friends since they were children, although the two boys have known one another longer. This may account for why Haruto is more prone to confiding in Takashi about his love life, or he might simply find it easier talking to another male. Nevertheless, Takashi’s advice generally isn’t very strong.
Takashi’s own love life is less than successful, as while he tends to take a liking to any girl that he sets his eyes on, he doesn’t seem to know how to make them like him back. Being rejected doesn’t seem to particularly bother him, however, and he doesn’t tend to waste time in finding someone new to pursue. He is much more open with his feelings than Haruto, and has a generally upbeat demeanour.
Takashi oftens comes across as comic relief, due to his poor luck, propensity to stomach upsets and the way that his shameless attitude often incurs Haruto and Akari’s ire. Other than that, he is the person Haruto most often confides in.
