Origin
Tamara or “Tam” Anderson was a true Genoshan patriot and only does things in that role. She believes her country to be the greatest in the world and will stop at nothing to ensure its prosperity. She became a soldier in the the ranks of the Genoshan Magistrates, becoming a Chief Magistrate. Being the leader of the magistrates, protection of the citizenry was her top priority.

Major Story Arcs
When the Press Gang transmits Wolverine and Rogue to Genosha, Anderson does her best to keep the prisoners safe. She calls in the Genegineer to alert him to the presence of the mutants. Her troops unwittingly allow their escape. She is able to redeem herself when she sees a prisoner on a security camera that should be being escorted by guards but seems to be alone. She determines that two of the invisible mutants are leading him and sets up an ambush for the two. She recaptures Wolverine and Rogue, but her squad is unable to keep them contained again.
X-Tinction Agenda
During the X-Tinction Agenda, Anderson led the Genoshan Magistrates against the X-Men at Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. There, the Magistrates abducted some of the New Mutants, along with the teenaged Storm, to Genosha to be tried for the X-Men’s crimes against the Genoshan government. The Magistrates were unaware, however, of the role Cameron Hodge was playing and how he was using the Genoshan government to exact his personal revenge against mutants. Once Anderson learned the truth, she aided the X-teams in defeating Hodge, though still harboring some ill-feelings towards the X-Men.
She was however one of the few former Genoshan leaders to support the new government after the X-tinction Agenda ended, which resulted in the fall of the old government and mutants no longer being second-class citizens (by law at least). Her feelings toward mutants remained lukewarm, at best, though she holds no notions of racism toward the Mutant Community. Ironicly enough, when Magneto began ripping Genosha apart, it was the X-Men that Anderson called to for aid.
Meeting the Fantastic Four
A few years later, Anderson came into contact with the superhero team known as the Fantastic Four. This was during the civil war that had risen in the land after the events of the X-Tinction Agenda. Anderson fought alongside the Fantastic Four for a while, until they returned to America.
Clarifications
Tam Anderson should not be confused with Tam, a Magistrate soldier whom first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #270.
