Ted Brautigan is a prisoner at Algul Siento, and arguably the most powerful telepath in the compound. He is referred to as facilitator, as his powers amplify the telepathy of those around him.

Ted Brautigan is a major character in the Stephen King novel Hearts in Atlantis, as well as the last novel of the Dark Tower series. In the film adaptation of the former, he was portrayed by the award winning actor Anthony Hopkins.
