Brief History
Ted Roberts went to Metro College along with Marvel Girl, Human Torch and Wyatt Wingfoot. Friend of Jean Grey and he possibly knows that she was Marvel Girl. He is also the brother of Cobalt Man. One of his close friends was Calvin Rankin (the Mimic). Ted was studying to become a psychologist. He was very active in college athletics, competing in running, pole vaulting and swimming events. At times setting new school records. He was driven by a need to escape the shadow of his older brother Ralph. Ted Roberts eventually met Marvel Girl in costume (#31, #34). Hinting at recognizing her as Jean Grey. This storyline was left unresolved.Â
