The Acolytes, a group of pro-mutants fanatics, who worshipped Magneto as their savior, attempted to recruit Teddy Matson to their cause until they released that he had Down Syndrome. Repulsed as they held views that mutants should be “perfect” they tried to kill him. Thankfully the X-Men were able to rescue him.
