In a planet colonized by humans in the far future, after the death of the earth, the legend of Superman has survived. In his memory, a group of people, called the League of Supermen was genetically modified to have partial powers of Superman. However these powers came with secondary effects. Newer recruits later would use special suits to help them mimic Superman powers without genetic alterations.
Juan LaPlaya was endowed with a cybernetic collar than give him super breath, capable of blow powerful winds. To a proper use, he had to be cautious and breath back through his nose or his lungs could blow up.
