Teyla is an Athosian from the Pegasus galaxy who helps the Atlantis expedition fight the Wraith. After a very short time she becomes a member of John Sheppard’s team. Teyla is a skilled fighter and has even trained members of Colonel Sheppard’s team in hand to hand combat.
