3000 years ago, a group of people was gathered by the sorceress Gamemnae to help her achieve great power. Tezumak, a Central American monk from a pre-Aztec Mesoamerican civilization in Mexico, joined her band of followers and did Gamemnae’s bidding. He wore bronze armor, honoring the gods who first brought science to the people. Working with Gamemnae pitted him against the Justice League of America, who had been lured back in time to search for the missing Aquaman. When Tezumak learned the full extent of Gamemnae’s plans which involved exterminating the JLA, he revolted, ultimately sacrificing his life to help bring about her defeat.
