The Beast is the main antagonist of Infamous 2. The Beast was created when John White was destroyed by the Ray Sphere in inFAMOUS. John was dead for one month, and some how reconstructed himself atom by atom. John later takes on the name of “The Beast”. Cole MacGrath is the only known conduit strong enough to defeat John. Many would say that John aka The Beast is not actually evil, but saving the world in the only way he sees fit.
In the inFAMOUS 2 evil ending John admits he no longer wants to be The Beast and transfers his powers to Cole, thus making him The Beast. Cole must then continue in activating all conduits so they will not perish from the plague.
