The Collector appeared in 31 of the first 48 issues of the relaunched Eagle.
He was an illustrated character who would introduce one-off morality tale photo strips, although in later holiday specials and annuals there would be a mix of photo and fully illustrated stories (by artist Ron Turner).
Alan Moore scripted two of The Collectors tales – issue 3 (Trash!) and issue 12 (Profits of Doom) – his only work for the comic.
