Origin
Dean Denton was an expert thief specializing in breaking and entering and safe cracking. He eventually tries to turn his life around and adopts an alias as a Deacon. He even adopts an abandoned church in a swamp near Center City as his base of operations. As the deacon, he decides to fight crime to make up for his past. His he does this wearing his deacon suit. He saves a young boy on one adventure named Mickey Matthews, who become his sidekick.
