History
When Teh Chang loses his son and daughter-in-law during World War II, he curses all wars and the men who make them. He takes his twin grandsons to a monastery high in the Himalayas. There, Wu Teh grows up good while his brother, Ling becomes evil. Both are trained to be experts in martial arts.  During a fight, Ling tries to kill Wu Teh with a spear, but Teh Chang comes between them and is mortally wounded. Ling runs off and, after his grandfather’s death, Wu Teh follows.Â
Â
Calling himself the Dragon, Wu tracks his brother to southern California where he waits for him to surface. In the meantime, financed by a priest at the monastery, Wu gets a journalism degree and becomes a TV anchorperson. Although he never does get vengeance on his brother, Wu does manage to stop other crimes as the Dragon.Â

The Dragon named himself after an amulet that was worn by his grandfather. The dragon amulet contains a mystic green fluid, “the essence of life and strength”, that heals all wounds.
