In the city of Knickerbocker, Don Wickett was the managing director of radio station WWGL, and Kandy Wilson was his secretary. But they were secretly also fighting crime as Shaman and Flame, the Dynamic Duet. They drove the streets of the city in their sleek, streamlined Jetcar. At the end of this single story, it was promised that they would appear again in the next issue of GOLDEN LAD. Alas, it wasn’t to be. There were no more issues of GOLDEN LAD and the Dynamic Duet had to leave the Jetcar locked up in the garage.
