The son of two insect-based heroes, Tarantella and The Mantis. Eddie can jump great distances, can cling to walls, and can command insects. Eddie’s antennae are actually not part of his costume, but are in fact attached to his body. They can be hidden under his hair if the need presents itself. His command over insects appears to be limitless so long as the insects are all of the same species. Controlling mixed groups of insects is possible but more difficult for him. The larger the swarm of the same insect, the more information they can communicate back to Eddie. These powers appear to be limited to insects, however, and he appears to have no control over arachnids.
